Charles King and his wife Wilma built this 2864 sq ft
house in the edge of the Ozarks near Pocahontas, Arkansas in the late
1970’s. During construction, Charles asked Mike Jones if there was some
way to use water from his spring to heat and cool his house.
Ole Number 2 has
used 115,035 KWH during the period of April 12, 1979 to November 21,
2006. That is 27 years, 7 months and 10 days. Calculating this KWH
usage at today’s price of 8 cents per KWH, this unit has heated and
cooled this house as well as making some of the domestic hot water at an
average cost of $27.37 per month for this entire period.

A new town located on Scenic Highway 30-A in South Walton County is
bringing a warm and new sentiment to the area. The Town of Prominence
Florida is framed by the Florida Pan handle’s greatest natural treasures,
Deer Lake State Park and the nearby beaches of South Walton.
Hydro-Temp Geothermal heating and air conditioning and Insulated
Concrete Forms (“ICF”) is required in all homes and commercial
businesses within Prominence.
Hydro-Temp Earth Coupled Heat Pumps will heat from the earth to warm the
home during the winter. During the summer months, the same system pulls
heat from your home and transfers it to the earth. Additionally, waste
heat from the system can be used to heat water. This system redirects
energy to the earth saving you on monthly expenses, eliminates the need
for outside condenser units and is better for the environment.
