The Lux511 is fully functional on all Hydro-Temp systems with Microprocessor.  Hydro-Temp uses this thermostat on systems it manufactures.  Please contact us only if you're question refers to a Lux511 connected to a Hydro-Temp system.  If your using this thermostat on a conventional heat / cooling system you can get more information from the Lux website at http://www.luxproducts.com/support.htm

Dip switch on microprocessor must be switch to the on position for each zone using the Lux511 thermostat.  Dip switches 1 - 4 are located on the center portion of the microprocessor.
