Hot water heating. Keep the heat where it belongs. A must read if your considering a constant hot water circulation system in your home or building. DHW or Standard DHW refers to a system that assist the hot water tank in producing hot water. Hot water is only generated when the system is on heating or cooling the house / building. Priority systems will make 100% of the hot water needed. They require an aqua stat installed on the hot water tank to turn the Hydro-Temp system on and off as needed to make hot water. This system will heat water while the system is on heating and cooling the house / building also but with the aqua stat it will come on if needed just to heat the hot water if the system is not heating or cooling the space. Infloor systems normally use a priority system hooked to a buffer tank then circulated through the infloor.
